I was responsible for designing and world building the Midgard Holt that was used for the in-game credits, as well as a lot of the character resolution for the story. This level was such a blast to work on, and a real honor to have it entrusted to me. At a point in production, leadership decided they wanted a similar setup to how the in-game credits were displayed to how they had done in the 2018 God of War. It was a huge honor to have them come to me and ask for me to realize this area after they had been enjoying my work on the other Midgard Caves. Finally playing through this section a final time when I beat the game after it released was such an emotional experience, and one I'm never going to forget having been a part of.
