God of War Ragnarok - Midgard Caverns

I was responsible for world building the new caverns in Midgard, extending what was there in the previous title. I got to start by updating the adjacent areas which appeared in the previous game and take the look I established into this whole new space! One of my absolute favorite sections, chock full of silly little details, including scales from the world serpent crashing through some of the walls like he's wrapped around this cave, as well as a bird atop a drauger's head which flies off as you climb up and he awakens.

Huge shoutout to my lighter, Mario Wieschec, designer Farid El-Nemr, as well as environment support from the whole Caldera team including Burr Johnson who did an early blockout of this level as well as Hannibal Hunter on Houdini support for the large snow piles.
